Felt Drag Washers (Type 6)

This very high-quality felt drag material is the perfect combination of unrivalled stopping power, silky smoothness and outstanding consistency. They may be used dry or with a light coating of drag grease available separately.

Compared to factory washers, felt washers can deliver increased performance with a much smoother drag across a greater range.

• This conversion slows the standard drag down from just a few clicks to a proper 1/2 – 1 full turn quick drag with a lovely smooth range in between. Many of our customers felt the standard setup was inconsistent and difficult to play fish off the clutch or reliably set the quick drag.
• These are supplied and fitted by you as a replacement for existing white PTFE washers in your spool.

These washers have to be experienced to truly appreciate their value in carp fishing, helping to reduce the chance of hook pulls and lost fish at the net.

We recommend adding a little of our clutch grease on assembly.
