We have had a lot of requests for this conversion from customers over the last year or so and are pleased to announce they are now available.

Converts spools to a quick clutch system.
Total free spool to full lock in half a turn.
Replacement spacer pack included.
Will convert many other spools for example standard 5000t’s, ss3000’s, ss2600’s, Emcast Evo etc.
Ideal for Marker rod set ups
Makes the process of slackening the clutch to pay out line and locking back up to retrieve line a much quicker and easier operation.
Solid precision machined alloy.
Black anodized finish

Remove spool from reel.
Simply remove wire retaining clip, click plate and washers from old spool.
Replace original felt washers with new spacers supplied, 5 on SS and 5000s, 3 on the 2600s.
Replace washers in the same order as before with a little grease, replace click plate and wire clip.
The spool can now be fitted back onto the reel with the new “speed cap” and the conversion is complete.
Take care to ensure all washers are aligned correctly when re-fitting the spool .
